Mighty Roots (formerly Little Green homes) has been in business for almost fifteen years and has worked on a large variety of projects, always focusing on quality, energy efficiency, and durable construction details. Our crew members carry a variety of different talents from roofing to framing to interior finish and we are able to take advantage of our team’s expertise from job to job by promoting open communication and teamwork across all our projects.
We specialize in large scale projects with extensive remodeling experience and have built a number of high quality, high performance and Energy Star homes utilizing all three arms of our business — design, build and cabinetry.

The building science of our projects is vital to the long-term health of the home and its occupants. Our homes are carefully designed to manage moisture, air quality and resources. Careful insulation details, water management, and cabinets—built and finished in our own shop—make all the difference in health and efficiency for each job. We take pride in our dedication to all these tasks.
Project Communication
At Mighty Roots, we believe that the key to any successful job is constant and open communication. We achieve this with weekly client meetings and our online communication platform that includes the homeowner, project manager, lead carpenter, and designer. It is important that all stakeholders in each project know what’s going on so that nothing is missed.
Our weekly meetings play a huge role in the success of our work. This is where we review all the costs to date in relation to the estimate and allows us to head off any surprises as we like to take the time to answer all questions, especially if we uncover any tricky build situations.
At the end of the job, our goals are met when you have a full understanding of where your money was invested, are happy with the results of your new space, and have added the value to your home you had hoped for.
