Experienced Carpenter
Overview

We are in search of experienced carpenters and motivated creative thinkers that are passionate about carpentry and building science. The ability to work well with others is essential.
Challenging, interesting work runs from new home construction to large additions and whole-house renovations. We sub out most of our drywall, flooring, roofing, painting, and licensed trades, so carpentry skills and knowledge of renovation and new home build work is critical. Good framing and finish carpentry skills are important. We provide power tools and a generous annual carpenter tool allowance.

Our design/build and cabinetry company is busy year-round with a substantial backlog that is committed to energy efficiency and fine craft. Our coverage area is typically the seacoast, NH and southeast ME regions. We work hard and find the time to enjoy company outings that include golfing, boating etc.

Project Leader/Architect

We are in search of motivated creative thinkers that are passionate about architecture and building science.
Job Summary:
Responsible for efficiently and successfully leading, managing, and overseeing architectural production projects from the Pre-Design phase through to Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration phases by setting, tracking, and managing project budgets, schedules, and design scope as well as coordinating effective communication between clients, consultants, and supporting staff.
Required Qualifications:
● 5-10 years minimum of project management experience
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● A collaborative and professional work ethic
● Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve problems
● Strong sense of self-efficacy to achieve results
Preferred Qualifications:
● Professional degree in architecture
● Professional architecture license
● Strong interest in sustainable, high-performance, low-carbon design
● Passive House Certification (CPHC or CPHD&C)
● Experience and knowledge of high-performance light wood construction
● Experience with Chief Architect design software
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $80,000-$110,000 based on experience.
