Gerrish Island

This tiny lot, with ocean to the east, and conservation land to the west, was clearly the perfect spot for this young family to call home. We love when a client conversation starts with "this might sound crazy", that usually means we are in for something fun. That's exactly how the owner presented his idea for the giant hammock hang out area. After a few moments of "you want to do what", we got to thinking about how we might be able to pull it off. Working with our structural engineer we came up with a plan to make it happen, and it took off from there. It was a lot of fun seeing the plan come together, and the entire family out there hanging out!
